What we collect
- When you order
- Your name, phone number, delivery address and city, and optionally your email, area, postal code and order notes — plus the items and totals of your order.
- When you send a message or quote request
- Your name, phone number, and optionally your email, business name and city, with your message and any product sizes and quantities you list.
- When you browse
- Anonymous usage data from our own analytics (see below), and aggregated performance data from Vercel.
How we use it
- To confirm, prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email.
- To reply to your messages and quote requests.
- To keep records of sales for accounting.
- To understand which pages and products are useful, and to improve the website.
- To protect the website and our forms from spam and abuse.
Analytics — first-party and anonymous
We run our own simple analytics instead of advertising trackers. It records events such as page views, product views, add-to-cart, WhatsApp and call button clicks, searches and quote requests.
- Each browser gets a random anonymous id stored in your browser's local storage, and each tab a random session id. These ids aren't linked to your name or phone number.
- We record the page, the referring website, any campaign tags in the link (utm), your device type, browser and operating system, and an approximate country and city provided by our hosting network. We don't store your IP address with these events.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't set the anonymous browser id.
- We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which report aggregated visits and page speed without cookies.

You can clear these at any time from your browser settings. The website still works without them; your cart just won't be remembered.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal purposes, and messages and quote requests for as long as they are useful for following up. Analytics events are kept in anonymous form.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you — email info@marfanienterprises.com or WhatsApp 0345-2212812. We may need to keep order records required for accounting.
- Clear your browser storage, or turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
- Tell us if you'd rather not receive order updates by email; we'll still contact you about an active order.
Security
The website runs over HTTPS, forms are protected against spam, and only authorised shop staff can see orders and messages. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or card numbers through our forms — we never ask for them.
Children
This website is meant for adults placing orders. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
